FIRST DATE SEX<\/a>: It\u2019s no revelation to say that, generally speaking, men like to have sex on a first date \u2013 but there’s a growing number of women who like to jump into bed as soon as they can too.<\/p>\n

A XXX Sex Contacts<\/a> poll we conducted in February this year, revealed that 16 percent of 20 to 27-year-old women would willingly engage in sex on their first date \u2013 that\u2019s more than any other age group.<\/p>\n

Also, one in 15 women said they would sleep with someone the first time they met, compared to one in four blokes who would do the same.<\/p>\n

However, the number of women who have sex on their first date is set to grow significantly as more of them realise just how empowering and liberated it makes them feel.<\/p>\n

One 25-year-old told us: \u201cIt makes the date more exciting if you don\u2019t set those ridiculous \u2018I don\u2019t sleep with guys on the first date\u2019 rules.”<\/p>\n

First Date Sex:<\/h2>\n

Courtney, 28<\/a><\/p>\n

PARALEGAL Courtney decided to hit the dating scene following the breakdown of her marriage.<\/p>\n

Most of her dates ended with sex \u2013 even if she didn\u2019t see a future with the man.<\/p>\n

Courtney, from Luton, Bedfordshire<\/a>, says:<\/p>\n

“When I was single, my dates would almost always end up with sex. Throughout a 16-month period, I slept with something like 12 different men.<\/p>\n

“I typically like to have sex early on after meeting a guy because sex is a very essential part of a relationship for me.<\/p>\n

“If the sex isn\u2019t good then I\u2019m not interested.”<\/p>\n

“If I was attracted to a man I would always want to sleep with him so I would find out if there could be a reason for a second date.<\/p>\n

“I would be extremely candid, if I didn\u2019t find my date that attractive or if I felt like we weren\u2019t connecting on a mental level, I\u2019d simply tell him I didn\u2019t see a relationship developing, but I would always make it very clear that I was up for having sex that evening if that\u2019s what he wanted too.”<\/p>\n

“It\u2019s important, to be honest about these things as you don\u2019t want to end up in a situation where one person likes the other more.<\/p>\n

“I always make it clear if I\u2019m looking to have sex with them for that night only, or if I am looking for something more.”<\/p>\n

First Date Sex:<\/p>\n

Verity, 25<\/a><\/p>\n

SINGLE beauty Verity from Southall, London<\/a>, says having sex on a first date is usual because she \u2018likes to try before she buys\u2019.<\/p>\n

Verity, who is an ICU nurse in London, says:<\/p>\n

“I imagine just as many women have sex on a first date as men, we just don\u2019t talk about it. We\u2019re too concerned about what other people will think.<\/p>\n

“When a man gets a woman into bed on a first date they\u2019re labelled a hero. If a woman does it, they get a bad name for themselves. Having sex on a first date is like trying before you buy. I don\u2019t see any point waiting months to have sex, particularly at my age.<\/p>\n

“I need to know early on if I\u2019m sexually compatible with someone or the relationship won\u2019t work. I don\u2019t want to waste time waiting to find out.<\/p>\n

“I met an ex-partner online and we had sex on our first date.<\/p>\n

“It was amazing. As he drove me home I knew we\u2019d sleep together. As soon as we walked through the door we had sex. Our relationship lasted 18 months and having a great sex life held us together.<\/p>\n

“When we broke-up I met men on Tinder and PoF.<\/p>\n

“I got chatting to a man on Tinder and we met up at a hotel and fell into bed as soon as we got there.<\/p>\n

“It was truly exhilarating, but when I suggested going out for a few drinks later, he decided that he just wanted to spend the night in the room.<\/p>\n

“Then we had a disagreement so I left early the next morning.<\/p>\n

“Next time I will make sure I\u2019m at least treated to a meal and a drink before we sleep together.”<\/p>\n

First Date Sex:<\/p>\n

Julie, 24<\/a><\/p>\n

PALS tell off Julie from Litchfield, Staffordshire<\/a>, when she sleeps with guys on the first date.<\/p>\n

But she thinks they are out of touch and that women should call the shots.<\/p>\n

Julie, who is a full-time law student, says:<\/p>\n

“I\u2019ve been on several first dates in the past year where it\u2019s turned into sex at the end of the evening.<\/p>\n

“When I tell my friends they always quote the three-date rule, which says a woman must wait until she has had a third date with a guy before having sex with him, but I don\u2019t agree in waiting.<\/p>\n

“I think you should do whatever you feel comfortable with.<\/p>\n

“Some guys assume sex will happen on a first date and other\u2019s don\u2019t, so it can be really empowering to say, ‘I don\u2019t care about the rules, I want to sleep with you because I want to know if you can satisfy my needs.’<\/p>\n

“I think it\u2019s better to get straight to the point, and I\u2019m like that with initial chatting, too.<\/p>\n

“When I meet someone online I will always ask them to meet up straight away.<\/p>\n

“I don\u2019t see the point in dragging it out, because you\u2019ll only know if there\u2019s a connection once you meet in person.<\/p>\n

“I\u2019ll only sleep with someone if I like them and I can see things going further.<\/p>\n

“I think it\u2019s a normal part of dating, but if I\u2019m not into them then I\u2019ll make a polite excuse and go home alone.<\/p>\n

“I\u2019ve had to give a few guys the brush-off after sleeping with them as the spark just wasn\u2019t there.<\/p>\n

“I\u2019m quite a sexual person so that\u2019s important to me. It\u2019s better to find out sooner rather than later.<\/p>\n

“My friends \u2018don\u2019t get it\u2019 if I sleep with a guy on our first date because they\u2019re all in long-term relationships.  I guess they see things differently.<\/p>\n

“They don\u2019t understand what dating these days is like.”<\/p>\n

First Date Sex:<\/p>\n

 Donna, 42<\/a><\/p>\n

MUM of one Donna from Hartlepool, Northeast<\/a>, says the best sex is after a first date.<\/p>\n

She also uses it as an opportunity to check out their home. Office manager Donna says:<\/p>\n

“I am seeing somebody at the moment but still dating other men because it\u2019s important to keep your options open.<\/p>\n

“It makes the date more electrifying if you don\u2019t set those stupid ‘I don\u2019t sleep with guys on the first date’ rules.<\/p>\n

“The best sex I\u2019ve ever had is when it\u2019s spontaneous after a first date. It adds a bit of adventure.”<\/p>\n

“But I expect guys to make the first move and I never take a guy home with me. I like to check-out his domestic state of affairs.<\/p>\n

“It gives a good insight into who they are ahead of committing to another date.<\/p>\n

“If he\u2019s messy, lives with his parents, has weird hobbies or a really plush house, it\u2019s nice to know early on.<\/p>\n

“I sleep with about 50 percent of my dates and half of those I will see again if he wants to.<\/p>\n

“I don\u2019t want to waste three more dates on somebody then sleep with them and find there\u2019s no sexual spark.<\/p>\n

“It\u2019s better to figure out if you\u2019re better off as friends at the start.<\/p>\n

“I\u2019ve had a few long-term relationships in the past and I\u2019m always looking for love.<\/p>\n

“I slept with a previous partner on our first date and we were together for a few years, so that shows it can lead to love.”<\/p>\n
