Your Data Privacy Rights: On 25 May 2018, the UK will see the biggest change to data privacy laws for 20 years as the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) begins.
These days, we’re all aware of the importance of keeping our personal data safe and secure, and this is doubly the case where adult services are concerned. At XXX Sex Contacts, we appreciate that when you use our service, you trust us to keep your service interactions private.

Data privacy: Sensitive Personal Information (Service User Message Logs)
In addition to your privacy protection rights under the new GDPR, any sensitive personal information (as defined under Section 2 of the Data Protection Act 1998 (“S2 DPA 1998”) we hold about your service interactions (message log) already falls within S2 DPA 1998. This means your private service interactions (e.g. the content of your private messages and the private messages of those you interact with) cannot be disclosed to a third party without your explicit informed consent.
The GDPR refers to sensitive personal data (as defined under the DPA 1998) as “special categories of personal data” (under Article 9 of the GDPR).
